Meet Our Pastor
Hi, I’m Tim.
I have been blessed to be the pastor at Art for seven years. And it is the most welcoming and loving group of people I’ve ever been associated with.
God calls us out of darkness into his glorious light to know and experience his love. And then, being filled by the Holy Spirit, we love others as we love ourselves. Doing it with the hope that others may come to know the good loving and gracious God we know, love and serve. And our desire is that this love will cause a revival to spread throughout Mason County and beyond. All to his glory and the good of others.

I grew up in a much smaller Houston than what it is now.
I was raised Catholic.
I was loved into the kingdom of God by an uncle and aunt in 1978. And was called into ministry on Memorial Day weekend 1979 (I’d love to tell you about it for I felt like I was the most unlikely candidate for God to call).
I am a graduate of Denver conservative Baptist seminary and somehow ended up in the Methodist Church in 1991 as an associate pastor.
I’ve been blessed to serve God‘s people in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and in Big Lake, Barnhart, Mason, Uvalde, and now Art , Texas.
I’ve been married to Claudia for 51 years, and we have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
